Migrating from one hosting provider to another is not a project. It may be a sizeable undertaking to back up and restore ten WordPress installations – including their own databases, media libraries, interconnections, child themes, and plugin customisations, but it is not a Project in this context.

NaNoWriMo, on the other hand, is a project. It has a clear target date and a clear Product. It should really be called “InDraWriMo” though. It’s bigger than a National event, and it’s unrealistic to think that you can really Wri a finished No in a Mo. You can, however, Wri the Dra of a No in a Mo.

Creating the merchandise, artwork and packaging for an a cappella Christmas album – that’s a project too. It just needs a number.
